Terms of use

Use them for anything lawful, personal or commercial, as much as you like. There is no quota, no watermark and no attribution requirement on anything a tool produces. You keep every right you already had in the files you put in and the files you get out — we acquire none, because we never receive them.

What you may not do: attack the service or the people using it. That means no attempting to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, and no using it to process material you have no right to process.

Processing happens inside your browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, so nothing is stored, logged or recoverable by us — including by us, if you ask. Close the tab and the work is gone.

That has one consequence worth stating plainly: there is no copy. If a result matters to you, save it. We cannot retrieve it later, because we never had it.

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available at any particular moment, that a tool will produce a specific result, or that a result will be accepted by whatever system you need it for — an upload form’s limits are set by whoever runs that form, not by us.

Re-encoding a file is lossy for some formats, and each tool page says so where it applies. Work from your original rather than from a processed copy, and check a result before you rely on it.

Because the tools run on your device and we hold nothing, our practical ability to cause you a loss is limited. To be explicit: to the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost files, lost time, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from using the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them, and the substance of the change is described rather than silently edited in.
