It pays for the next tool
Hosting a static site is cheap. What support actually buys is time to build the next thing properly.
What it actually costs to run
ToolZool is a static site on a content delivery network with no database, no servers and no file storage. At current traffic the hosting cost is negligible, and we are not going to pretend otherwise to make a donation feel more urgent.
The real cost is time. Each tool is a Rust engine, a WebAssembly build, an interface that works on a phone, tests, and written content that is worth reading. That is where support goes.
